Tentative Agenda

FLASH is a comprehensive sexual health education curriculum and public health prevention strategy designed for schools. It is designed to be teacher-friendly, including ample scripting, so that schools can implement when they are ready. Because of this, FLASH trainings focus on building teachers’ skills, and are not simply an overview of the lessons. Teacher trainings build skills in answering difficult student questions, including questions about values, best practices in the field of sexual health education, and the effective use of key concepts when teaching about sexual health.

Stephanie Hebert is a dynamic health education specialist with over 20 years of experience in public health. Her passion in creating positive and supportive environments for sex education are informed by her strong working knowledge in brain development and behavior, trauma-informed approaches, LGBTQ youth and inclusivity. Whether facilitating a training, planning a program or writing curricula, Stephanie approaches every project from a holistic perspective and with her strongly held belief that everyone deserves to be treated as a whole and not as a collection of their parts.
