Embassy Suites will extend the sleeping room rate to the three days prior to the conference and to the three days after the conference.
Rate includes a hot breakfast. Please contact Embassy Suites, Albuquerque at 505-245-7100 and provide credit card information in order to reserve your room.
Embassy Suites, Albuquerque, hasn’t yet provided the group code or the meeting group name. You will receive this in a separate email as soon as that information is available. Please monitor the website for updated information as well. Unfortunately, this means that you will need to make your reservation without having this information. We recommend making the reservations anyway, in order to assure you and your family a room. We will then assist you in getting the discounted rate should any disagreement arise.
Childcare for ages six weeks through 17 years will be provided off-site by Altamonte Child Development Center, Inc. which is conveniently located within 3.5 miles of Embassy Suites-Albuquerque, where the conference takes place. Their address is 3305 Alta Monte Ave Ne, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
Childcare is available for bio, adoptive, and foster children.
Families are encouraged to coordinate respite or alternative care for their children due to limited childcare. Children may be dropped off at Altamonte Child Development Center, Inc on Saturday, March 9th starting at 7:30am and picked up by 5:45pm. Childcare waivers will be provided onsite at Altamonte. It is highly recommended that you allow time to complete these forms onsite if you haven’t printed, and completed, the waiver form beforehand.
For children under age 3 years old, childcare is limited.
For youth 13-17 years old, field trips may be available. These older youth may elect to attend workshops* with their parents/guardians. *This will need to be indicated upon registration.
Please note that some conference content may not be appropriate for children, particularly those under age 3.
Details will be provided in your final registration confirmation email.
Please print, and complete, a Childcare Waiver/Registration Form, for each child that will be attending childcare. Please bring your completed form with you to Altamonte and present to Altamonte upon delivering your child(ren) to Altamonte.
No need to mail the form. Just print it up, complete one for each child, and bring it with you to Albuquerque to give to Altamonte when you drop off your child.
If a child is attending childcare and will need medication while in Altamonte’s care, please print and complete, for each child requiring medication, a Child Medication Administration Request Form.
Please direct any childcare questions to Bob Brazell or call 575-646-0325 or 505-872-9268 before contacting Altamonte.
A deposit check of $50 is required for all CYFD Adoptive and Guardianship Families. Your deposit check will be handed back to you on-site. If you are not able to attend the conference and need to cancel your registration, please let us know by February 28, 2019 in order to have your deposit check mailed back or voided.
